Oh, I don't know what it makes me want to do but it makes me pretty mad!!!

FAQ: The End of the Light Bulb as We Know It
Wednesday December 19, 11:01 am ET
By Marianne Lavelle

The incandescent light bulb, one of the most venerable inventions of its era but deemed too inefficient for our own, will be phased off the U.S. market beginning in 2012 under the new energy law just approved by Congress.

The article, which you can read in it's entirety here, goes on and on with these inane excuses and reasons for why we should be happy about this.

I'M NOT HAPPY, BOB. NOT HAPPY.

This is what happens when Democrats get their way. Ug.

Why can't we CHOOSE what light bulbs we will use??? I HATE, as a photographer, HATE florescent bulbs. I hate the green light they emit.
I LOVE incandescent bulbs and will go out of my way to find a good bulb. I love me a good light bulb... :o) Why can't they just make the choice irresistible for consumers, so that the market will dictate what is the better and more popular bulb, while still allowing consumers the choice over which bulb they'll use?? We don't need government to tell us what light bulb to use, for Pete's sake.
I'd like to say that this is why I vote Republican, except there aren't too many Republicans I like in office right now. I wish, more than just about anything, that I could run for office but no money= no votes. Maybe one day.

the end...

the end of the play...
what a sad thing to type.
it's been an incredible ride - having such a small cast (6 people) makes it
SO personal.
This group has been awesome to work with.
Here in this photo is: (left to right)
Kerri Jones, Mike Liles, Tom Stewart, Jim Stratton, Angela Parry & Duke Rausavljevich (Duke, that was from memory that I typed your name!! GO Me!! lol)
thanks, guys, for making this such a fun couple of months, working (playing!) together with you, side-by-side to make an incredible play.
I'll never forget it.
